Dayton & Troy Electric Railway

The Dayton & Troy is an HO scale track plan by Ray Persing originally published in Model Railroad Planning 2004.
The layout is an electric interurban set roughly in the 1920's or '30's. It's an around the room style layout with several peninsulas featuring country scenes and small cities. Several depots and local industries keep freight operations interesting as trollies or streetcars weave through the cities.
I was inspired by this track plan the moment I saw it back in 2004. When Trainz Model Railroad was released in 2017, I couldn't help but attempt to recreate this wonderful, fun, little track plan in the game.
Included here is an updated version compatible with Trainz 2022 and Trainz Plus SP5. The newer version features some additional scenes and newer scenery elements. Other than that, it largely remains as originally built. Also included is the Trainz A New Era version, in its original unmodified state as built during the Youtube series. The legacy TANE version is unmodified and may have missing or faulty dependencies and is shared here "as is."
The Trainz 22 and Plus versions of the route use RTXT track from Jointed Rail. It's included in this download but it's recommended you download the latest version from JR. If you already have it installed you do not need to install it again.
