Union Terminal
Inspired by similar models featured on the pages of Model Railroader Magazine, Union Terminal is a small, fictional transition era model railroad set generally in the northeast.
The model features a large 8 track passenger terminal, coach yard, freight yard with caboose track, locomotive servicing including a turntable and roundhouse, as well as some local switching.
The route includes two 4 track staging yards on both ends of the module for inbound and outbound trains to arrive and depart the layout realistically.
The module was built in less than 20 hours over a three part series on Youtube back in 2018.
Included in the download is an updated version of the route for Trainz 2022 and Trainz Plus SP5 as well as the necessary dependencies. Updates were mostly focused on adding PBR textures and newer vegetation.
Also included is the original, unedited version for Trainz A New Era. The legacy TANE version is unmodified and may have missing or faulty dependencies and is shared here "as is."
The Trainz 22 and Plus versions of the route use RTXT track from Jointed Rail. It's included in this download but it's recommended you download the latest version from JR.
